Update from Wilton Chamber
Monday, 1st March 2010
Newly-formed Wilton & District Business Chamber is forging ahead with plans to network with members and others who run businesses in the area.
Support has been so strong that the first Business Breakfast attracted 14 members and the next one is likely to double that number. Lloyds Bank is among the membership and will be addressing one of the business meetings.
On February 9, David Baker, from the Trowbridge chamber - the largest in the county - attended the regular evening meeting and gave members a rundown of the benefits of working together to promote themselves and each other. The new chamber is working closely with the Stonehenge and Mere chambers to widen the scope of the networking potential in this huge rural area of Wiltshire.
Wilton & District Business Chamber’s next Business Breakfast is at The Penruddocke Arms, Dinton, at 8am on March 10, when the speaker is Paul Sample from The Mustard Agency, Wilton.
The date of the next quarterly general meeting is May 4, at 7.30pm in Wilton Community Centre. Both meetings are open to anyone interested in business networking.
